This article will explain how governance works across the platform: who can see, query, and change what, and how that is enforced.

Planned outline:

• Two complementary planes: access governance (Ranger) and metadata governance (DataHub).

• How Trino enforces Ranger policies at query time, and what gets audited.

• Security zones and delegated policy administration.

• Credentials and secrets: how the charms manage per-relation credentials through Juju secrets.

• Single sign-on across the user-facing services.
